About Symmvia
Symmvia is building a high-trust care platform across public web, authenticated web, and a patient mobile app.
The product includes identity, permissions, billing, messaging, booking, provider workflow, and the data infrastructure required to make the system smarter over time.
We care about clear systems. Auditability, access control, operational clarity, and careful product design matter as much as speed.
About the role
This role exists because Symmvia is not just a backend system. We need a patient-facing product that works cleanly across web and app-store mobile surfaces. You will help turn core platform capabilities into durable user-facing software: onboarding, messaging, booking, subscriptions, profile management, and the mobile app experience itself.
- Build product features across Next.js web surfaces and React Native mobile surfaces.
- Work closely with the product systems engineer to translate backend capabilities into clear user flows.
- Help establish the patient mobile app as a real product surface, not just a wrapper around the website.
- Implement integrations, edge-case handling, and product states across account, booking, messaging, and subscription flows.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, shared TypeScript models, and product-quality release discipline.
- Help the team move faster without sacrificing clarity or correctness.
- You care about product quality on phones as much as on desktop.
- You are comfortable working close to design and close to the backend at the same time.
- You can ship quickly without leaving obvious broken edges behind.
- React Native or Expo experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, identity, or another high-trust domain is a plus.
- Strong TypeScript, React, and modern frontend engineering.
- Experience shipping full-stack product features, not just static UI.
- Comfort working across web and mobile surfaces.
- Experience with API integration, async product states, and authenticated user flows.
- Ability to ship polished, resilient product behavior in a fast-moving environment.
