About Symmvia

Symmvia is building a high-trust care platform across public web, authenticated web, and a patient mobile app.

The product includes identity, permissions, billing, messaging, booking, provider workflow, and the data infrastructure required to make the system smarter over time.

We care about clear systems. Auditability, access control, operational clarity, and careful product design matter as much as speed.

About the role

This role owns the product design language across patient, provider, admin, and mobile surfaces. The work is not marketing-only. You will help design software that has to feel clear, trustworthy, and operationally sound in moments that matter. We are looking for a designer who can think in systems: states, transitions, hierarchy, and the emotional tone of a product people rely on.

In this role, you will
  • Own the design language across patient, provider, admin, and mobile product surfaces.
  • Design structured flows for onboarding, messaging, subscriptions, booking, and provider workflows.
  • Create and maintain the component system, state system, and interaction rules used across the product.
  • Work closely with engineering and the founder on product strategy and sequencing.
  • Improve clarity, trust, and usability across complex workflows without adding noise.
  • Help make the product feel serious, restrained, and unmistakably Symmvia.
You might thrive if you
  • You care about legibility and clarity more than ornamental design moves.
  • You can think in systems: states, flows, edge cases, and transitions.
  • You are comfortable designing for patients, providers, and operators in the same product family.
  • Mobile product design experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, fintech, enterprise workflow, or another trust-sensitive domain is a plus.
Required capabilities
  • Strong product-design portfolio with workflow-heavy software.
  • Experience designing software systems, not just brand or marketing pages.
  • Excellent typography, hierarchy, and interaction judgment.
  • Ability to work directly with engineering in an early-stage environment.
  • Ability to simplify complex systems for real users.
Compensation

Competitive for the role.
